Below are answers to the questions we are asked most frequently about access to the DCS web site, Mineral Planning and Waste Planning.
What does registration give me?
Registration on the DCS web site enables you to sign up for email news bulletins from Mineral planning and Waste Planning, and subsequently manage your bulletin options.
How do I log in to the site?
Please go to the Login page. You will be asked for your email address and your password.
Do I have to log in each time I visit the site?
No. If you check the 'remember me' checkbox when you sign in, you will not be asked to sign in next time, unless you click to “Log out” or visit from a different computer.
I have forgotten my password. What do I do?
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a password reminder by email.
I am having problems signing in. Is there anybody I can contact?
You can contact the DCS customer service team at dcs@haymarket.com or by calling 01452 835820.
Can I change my password or email address?
Once you are signed in to the site you can manage your account details, including your email address and password. To do this, visit My DCS. You can change the following information in My Account:
- Email address
- Password
- Bulletin subscriptions
I am a subscriber to DCP Online or Compass Online. Can I log in here to those services?
No. To log in to DCP Online or Compass Online you need to go to the web sites of those services. You can log in here to DCP Online and here to Compass Online.
I have a sensory impairment. Is the site accessible to me?
DCS aims to be accessible to all user groups. The site incorporates various features to enhance navigation for screen reader users, keyboard navigation and users of text-only browsers. See here for full accessibility information.
Which web browsers can be used to access DCS?
The site is optimised to work with the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 6 and above
- Firefox 3 and above (PC & MAC)
- Google Chrome
- Opera
- Safari 3.0.4 and above
However it will look best in Firefox, Chrome, Opera and the latest versions of Safari.
The site may not work in older versions of browsers and we do not undertake to support these.
